Gleanndal Hostel
The Gleanndal Hostel is where mountain meets sea in the tiny village of North Glendale on the rugged eastern coast of South Uist.
The Hostel is on the shore of Loch Boisdale, a sea loch so you will have great opportunity for a bit of seal and otter spotting, this whole area is abundant in wildlife.
South Uist is one of the islands that of the Western Isles (Outer Hebrides) archipelago, 70 miles off the North West of Scotland out in the Atlantic Ocean.

The Hostel
The Hostel building is a recently renovated Blackhouse, the traditional Hebridean stone cottage.
It offers 6 bunks (all bedding supplied), a well-equipped self-catering kitchen, a shower and is heated by a peat-fueled stove. Hostel Bunks £10 a night

Chalet
The Chalet directly overlooks the sea loch which is just 50 metres down the hill. With two twin-bedded rooms and a one double-bedded room the chalet can comfortably sleep six people.The Chalet has a well-equipped kitchen, shower and TV.
